Continent Worldwide Hotels, one of Turkey's fastest-growing hotel brands on the international stage, shared its evaluation of the year 2024 and its targets for 2025 with the public. The company, which stands out with its strategic partnerships and new destination plans worldwide, announced its goals set for the upcoming year.

In 2024, Continent Worldwide Hotels made significant progress, particularly through two major collaborations. The strategic partnership with CTG Hotels & Resorts, one of the largest hospitality companies in China, enabled the company to collaborate with over 170 hotels globally. Additionally, an agreement with Imporium Hospitality Management, which has been active in the hospitality sector in South Africa for years, plans to open five new hotels by the end of 2025.

Ethem Zagikyan, CEO of Continent Worldwide Hotels, stated regarding the matter, “2024 has been a successful year for us in many aspects. The experiences we gained internationally encourage us to set bolder goals. In 2025, we will not only increase the number of our hotels but also reach our guests with a broader service network on a global scale.”

Opening Its First Hotel in Iraq in 2025

Zagikyan mentioned the first Continent Hotel project to be opened in Baghdad, which will feature 236 rooms, including three large banquet halls, a nightclub, and restaurants. This hotel is set to welcome guests in the third quarter of 2025. He also noted that the signing processes for two hotels designed with one being five-star and the other having an ecological concept in Nairobi, Kenya, have been completed, and a new hotel project will be launched in Ghana under the AncyrA Hotels brand.

Zagikyan also discussed the expansion plans in the Middle East, stating, “The master franchise agreements we made in Saudi Arabia in 2024 were an important step for sustainable growth in the region. Under the agreement with Dyafat Al Atheel, we plan to open 20 hotels by 2030 under our AncyrA Hotels & Inns brand. Similarly, we made a similar agreement with Nojoum Al Atta for our Swiss Comfort brand and will establish 10 more hotels in the region.”

New Agreements in Turkey

Providing information about operations in Turkey, Zagikyan stated that they will open three new hotels under the Swiss Inn brand in Sivas, Biga, and Konya in 2025, and a Continent Hotels project is being developed in Şanlıurfa. In addition to these projects, he highlighted the success of the Swiss Inn Express hotel, which opened in Ankara in recent months. “Our hotel in Ankara exceeded our target budgets from the very first months. This is proof of our investor-friendly policies. I believe that our pricing strategies will be better understood by investors in Turkey,” he said.

Zagikyan expressed hope for 2025, emphasizing that rapid growth in the international arena is guiding them towards larger goals. “Our aim is not only to increase the number of hotels but also to provide a sustainable and profitable business model for our investors. With this vision, we will further enhance Turkey’s strength in the international hospitality sector,” he added.

Growing with Partners in the Asia-Pacific Region

Another noteworthy aspect of Continent Worldwide Hotels' vision for 2025 is to create a global network by offering unique accommodation experiences in different geographies with new destinations. The company's plans not only include expansion in the Middle East and Africa but also in the Asia-Pacific region.

Ethem Zagikyan commented on the new destination plans, stating, “2025 will be a year of both diversity and growth for us. We talked about our projects in Baghdad, Nairobi, and Ghana, but this is just the beginning. We are currently in discussions with a hotel chain of Indian origin that has over 120 hotels in its portfolio. With this collaboration, we aim to establish a significant presence in the South Asian market and open new hotels in countries like India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka,” he said.

Zagikyan noted that this collaboration presents a great opportunity in terms of regional growth and cultural diversity. “Being present in a rapidly growing market like India will not only provide our guests with a wider range of options but also create a high-potential market for our investors. We are very pleased with the positive progress of the discussions and plan to take more concrete steps in this regard soon,” he expressed.

He added that projects are also taking shape in Southeast Asia, alongside India, mentioning that countries with high tourism potential such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia are on their radar. “The Asia-Pacific region is leading not only in terms of tourism but also in innovation and sustainability practices in the hospitality sector. Establishing a presence here as a brand will serve our goal of providing more value to our guests,” he concluded.

Our Goals for 2025 Include Bringing License Revenues from Abroad to Turkey

Continent Worldwide Hotels aims to lead the global hospitality industry not only with new hotel openings but also through strong international partnerships for 2025. The company continues to carry Turkey’s brand strength in the hospitality sector worldwide by offering a sustainable, profitable, and innovative model for local and international investors. Ethem Zagikyan concluded this topic by stating, “Turkey should be a country that generates licensing revenue; it is not right to send national capital abroad by paying licensing fees to foreign brands.”

As of 2025, Continent Worldwide Hotels will continue its mission to reach more destinations and provide quality and innovative services to its global guests.
